Oh, my dear blogging friends..... I just about had a nervous breakdown! I'm tooling along on my computer when all of a sudden my entire screen went sideways!!!
Has this ever happened to any of you? I couldn't get the mouse to X out of anything, it was frozen. So, I unplugged it and rebooted.
OMG. Still sideways. WAAAAaaaaaaaaaah! Do I have a virus???
Is my computer FRIED???
I started to panic.
We have negative computer funds if we need a new one. I knew it couldn't be the "new" mouse, because it was from our old computer.
I don't WANT to have to go to the library!
What about all of my pictures and files?!?!
So, I rebooted again. This time it said something about my C drive was dirty. What?
Now I'm frantic.
I run down to get Kevin's lap top to google
"my computer screen just went sideways".
Hmm... must be a familiar issue, as it popped up before I finished typing the word sideways.
Oy, is that good or bad?
WHEW. Easy fix. Hit Ctrl, Alt, and the up button. THANK GOODNESS!!!
*sniff* All of this computer stress and no chocolate in the house!!!
(I still don't know what that C drive business was about!)

Oh yikes, I hate it when things like this happen to my computer. A dozen times I've called my sons away at school to cry HELP --- my computer is frozen or acting up! So far, they patiently lead me through whatever it takes to get me online again. It won't be long when your son will be at your service --- fixing all your computer blips and burps!

Wow! That was totally scary! I don't know what I'd have done if that had happened to me. I don't have any other access than what I have now. Glad it was a quick fix. xxoo
No, I've never had THAT happen....I'm glad it corrected itself. Have you seend the movie, "Eagle Eye".....it sort of freaks a person out about computers.....lol.

I laughed so hard at your comment about the ugly lights looking like stripper poles. When I went back and looked at the pics I thought, "she's right!" rofl
Maybe I should put them to use and entice some unsuspecting gentleman, lol.

When things are feeling all going the wrong way don't you wish there was a "CTRL ALT and UP button you could push...I guess there is... It's called prayer, LOL!

I've had a weird recurring blurp happening....When I've been visiting blogs the pass couple days...when I went to leave a comment the whole page was blank. Even weirder my friend called to tell me the same thing was happening to her.
There's a ghost in blogland!

I never heard of that before. I hope I can memorize your fix in case it happens to me.
