I've been enjoying some peace and quiet...but I'm still around!
Such a beautiful snowfall today.
Just as you should stop and smell the roses, you should stop and watch the snow fall.
I have felt much too overwhelmed to blog lately. No time to visit, no time to load photos, no time to sit and wait for pages or pics to load.
So I've actually been going to bed earlier than 1 or 2 AM. Or reading a book. Spending *real* time with my husband and son instead of *virtual* time blogging memories of them.
Just trying to get my priorities straight around here. But I will post and visit when I can. I do miss it so! I hope you all are well and hope to see you soon!Hugs,

Hunker down and enjoy your family sweetie. That's what life is all about anyway. I have cut back to about one post a week, bloggin' can sure eat up a heap of time.

I am still quilting, after several months of being sick, surgery and complications, but 2010 is going to be a healthy year for me.

You are so right about ejoying life around us.
I took a walk outside just to listen to the snow sweetly touching the ground. All of a sudden a bird started singing, I did not see the bird, I just heard it singing. That was so neat, beats sitting inside staring into a screen. Have a beautiful Sunday,

I'm So glad to see you post...I have missed you girl. I don't blog as much as I once did either...I completely understand where you are coming from. Your snowfall pics are just beautiful, thanks for sharing them. We might get some snow here in the Florida Panhandle tomorrow....do you believe it?! Hope we don't lose our power!
Nikki, I want to say that You are doing what matters most...spending time with your family and most importantly taking time for "you". There's one thing for sure...you can't get back time.
